Hi Steve. I am sorry that this has taken so long – but better late than never right? Right – so our feedback: We found you to be extremely professional, approachable and through. It was a pleasure to have someone – that made sure all the boxes were ticked – especially when we lived in a different province and just trying to get everything done and trying to remember it all was tough enough. We loved the music selection and the one thing that both Wayne and I wanted was to just have a great evening with our family and friends. The fact that the crowd was so diverse in age and in different cultures – made it more challenging I am sure. But you guys were great. My mom’s eldest brother who is always a bit of a cynic – said it was the music that made the evening – so there you have it. The sound was perfect – the help with my aunt and her violin. The songs that needed to be played when they needed to be played where great. Thank you for all your help and support. It was awesome to work with you and get to know you both. Hi there Steven. It’s great hearing from you . Well I’m not so sure about settling, we had a wonderful honeymoon, but two weeks after we immigrated to Australia and are now slowly settling and trying to find jobs. But we are enjoying it, and believe we have done the right thing. Ok, about the wedding. We were very happy with the efficiency and attention to detail before the actual wedding day, and could not have asked for anything more on the day. The choice of music for the background during tea and cake was wonderful, and the vibe at the reception was all we expected and more, Our friends loved it and commented on how good they thought you were. Particularly friends who had already been married, and felt their DJ was a let down. If I HAD to mention something, and it was not huge to me as I was really enjoying my evening, is that it was not the right song for my bouquet toss, but everything else was FANTASTIC. We were delighted to have Steven as the DJ for our wedding, following a recommendation from our wedding coordinator. As an overseas couple, Steven was great at making time to meet and chat with us and even skyped us in London to discuss the necessary details. Both Steven and his assistant were very professional and arrived suitably dressed for the wedding. The music played met all our expectations and more. Steven created the exact atmopshere we wanted with fun, South African inspired music which got everyone dancing. Without actually asking for it, I received huge amounts of feedback from the guests about you. They thought you were so completely AWESOME!!!!! I have never been to a wedding where from the minute the DJ announces the dance floor is open until the last song is played the dancefloor is packed!!!! That’s how it was that night. Everyone commented on the awesome music selection and how you got the crowd going. I listened out the entire night to all the songs that I requested you to play at various times in the evening and you played them when they were supposed to be played without fail. I never heard it but apparently the music you played in the bar area when we were having photos taken was unbelievable. A couple of people commented on this as well. In terms of the way things went on the day I do not have a negative thing to say, I wouldn’t have changed a thing and in my mind you exceeded every one of my expectations.
