I have a wealth of experience DJing at weddings in KZN. I specialise in young and fun celebrations and am well known for getting the party started and keeping the dance floor full all night long. At 40 years young I have the ability and music knowledge to connect to any crowd.
Most importantly, I am not a Club DJ and am well aware that your wedding is very different to any corporate event, birthday party or nightclub. It is at heart a celebration, but it needs to be conducted with the kind of professionalism, expertise and finesse that only years of actual wedding DJ experience can provide for.
Getting the music right on the night is extremely important to me, and I'll gladly take requests from you and your guests (You are also more than welcome to send me a list of your favourite songs).
As a specialist wedding DJ, I play music to suit all age groups, but concentrate on pop music from the early 2000s onwards from the likes of Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars and Avicii (Including indie and alt pop-rock like Blink 182 and The Killers a bit later in the evening). My secret sauce is simple. Play well-known songs which have been absolute hits over the years, and throw in the sing-along classics from the last few decades ('70s onwards) and you will have a wedding celebration your guests will talk about for years to come, and sore feet the next morning.
I spend most weekends DJing at weddings in Durban and the KZN Midlands but am happy to travel to all corners of KZN and other parts of South Africa. (Johannesburg and Cape Town)
I have a fantastic team of professional DJs in Durban, Midlands and Ballito who I can rely on in case of emergencies like the 2020 lockdown. My reputation as a wedding DJ was built on excellent service and reliability, but most importantly great music. I love what I do and look forward to DJing at your wedding celebration.
