What Music Do I Play?

The songs and genres that create unforgettable wedding dance floors

One of the best ways to imagine your dance floor is to see the kind of music that works at real weddings. Every celebration has its own mix of ages and personalities, but after performing at many events, clear patterns appear. Certain songs and genres consistently bring people together.

Other Styles I Often Include

Every wedding has its own flavour. Along with the favourites above, I regularly include:

Deep House
Amapiano
Country sing alongs
Classic rock
Afropop
Indie folk
Festival style remixes
Chilled sunset vibes for cocktail hour
Romantic slow dance moments

Your music preferences guide the overall direction. If you love a certain style, I can feature more of it. If you prefer a balanced mix, I blend genres throughout the night based on what keeps the dance floor full.

How I Shape the Music on the Night

Nothing is set in advance because every crowd is different. I watch the room, match the energy of your guests and choose the right music for each moment. If the dance floor opens early, I often start with feel good classics. If it starts later, guests are already warmed up so I may go straight into higher energy songs.

You are welcome to send me your must plays, favourite genres or anything you do not want to hear. I handle the rest and make sure the flow of the night feels natural, smooth and full of great memories.
